Publication Editor

Start: circa 16 July 2026
Duration: 11 months – with 1 x 12 month extension options
Location: Canberra, ACT or Remote

Basic Requirements:

• AGSVA Security clearance.
• Defence experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a professional editor
• Experience producing book-length manuscripts that comply with established style sheets.
• Fluency in the MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working both independently and within a team environment.
• Ability to organise and manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• Institute of Professional Editors membership
• Formal qualification in editorial services
