Publication Developer

Start: circa 16 July 2026
Duration: 11 months – with 1 x 12 month extension options
Location: Canberra, ACT or Remote

Basic Requirements:

• AGSVA Security clearance.
• Defence experience.

Experience in the following:

• Demonstrate and apply leadership capabilities through shaping strategic thinking, achieving results, cultivating productive working relationships, exemplifying personal drive and integrity, and communicating with influence.
• Manage progression of publications to reduce any prospect of conflict, meet work health and safety responsibilities, apply principles-based decision making, and make the most effective use of resources.
• Demonstrate knowledge transfer through sharing ideas, information and experiences, seeking opportunities for organisational learning and supporting the contribution of others.
• Maintain currency of annual mandatory training required for working in a Defence environment.
• Act in accordance with Defence Values and One Defence ethos.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other doctrine staff and stakeholders, including the respectful and proactive engagement with senior leaders across Defence.
